Call of Duty: World at War is out!

Just one year after the fourth installment of Call of Duty, we received the next version. This time we’re back into the second world war, fighting in both Europe and Pacific, for a change. The new version is built on the game engine of Modern Warfare, so we can expect wonderful effects and great gameplay. I really can’t complain after what I’ve seen in the beta version. I’m a fan of the series since the beginning and they’ve never let me down, their results have been great thus far.
Of course, I also agree with many of you that they’re releasing the new versions too quickly. The best of the first two versions (especially Call of Duty 2) was that there was enough time for communities to arise. Just remember how many mods and servers were available only two years ago. Now, there wasn’t enough time for something similar to happen with the fourth version, and it won’t with the last one. Activision has already announced Call of Duty 6, which is expected to be out in a year or so. If they would at least use this time to make a longer single player campaign it would be better. But anyway, I’m eager to get my hands on the final version of this game, which should be out in Europe in three days.
