Time is definitely not a statically defined unit as many want to make us believe. If it would be, I wouldn’t be here writing this, wondering how could I have not updated my blog in such a long time, and at the same time thinking, but hey, didn’t I write that fat food article only yesterday? The same applies to much feared long minutes of waiting, before being coldly invited in the professor’s room for another, even longer dose of anguish, fear and torture, before being awarded a grade, usually not in the least resembling my expectations.

While the perception of my efforts towards the freshness of the contents of Time Recursion may seem to me quite frequent, the past week has been archived in my memory as one of the longest, and possibly the best I’ve had in the past years. It all starts with the last Saturday in April, with the Day of Youth Festival we had in my home city. I think there’s no need to further delve into the fact, that I’ve been among the group of youngsters organizing this great Catholic event. I know you’re burning with curiosity, so here you go, grab some pictures!

Apart from that, we had a nice trip to Ljubljana with my family in the middle of the week, accompanied by Nina, who joined us again yesterday for a walk in the gardens of the Miramare Castle and later on for a quite long, but refreshing talk.

Whew, it’s over. The hectic days I mean. This weekend has been packed with various scouting events, preparations for the Day of youth in our local Catholic community, studying for an exam, and not to talk about the unexpected attack on one of the sites I help to manage. I really had a hard time locating all the compromised files and ensuring better security. And there are still things I have to take care of, but at least the schedule’s not so tight anymore.

On a lighter note, I’ve upgraded my blog to the latest wordpress version, and fixed the commenting system which was causing some trouble lately. Oh, if you haven’t noticed yet, we’re no longer using the SezWho plugin. They’ve been acquired by JS-Kit, which uses a similar system, which is richer in functionalities, even a bit too rich if you ask me. And since it offers so many options, it makes the commenting interface too complicated and bulky, complicated to a degree that I feared it would do more damage than good. And it doesn’t support Gravatars! How could they forget about them?!
